Self-taught, he mainly works in the fields of public interest graphic design, editorial graphics and illustration. In 1983 he met Lodovico Gualzetti and opened a studio in Milan moving subsequently to Sesto San Giovanni, a city that was emerging from a deep industrial crisis and that appeared particularly suitable for experiencing new working methods. Of particular relevance in that period are the collaboration with Slow Food and the preparation of a sign system applied to the valorisation of industrial archaeology sites, which was subsequently achieved in cooperation with the city of Sesto and the Institute for the History of Contemporary Age. In the Sesto San Giovanni studio MAGUTDESIGN was born in the Nineties. He has occasionally worked with Milan’s European Institute of Design graphics department.
